The 2016 Fall Fashion Trend is mind blowing. Starting off with gold metallic everything, overcoats, and off the shoulder blouses have really been a huge hit this season.
Let’s be honest, gold pairs with everything. Rachel Zoe stole the show during New York Fashion Week, when she wore an astonishing lamé-like sheer maxi. On the other hand, Baja East, another model opted for gold “going-out” tops, paired with slouchy tan pants and flat slides. Statement fur is a huge trend this fall, whether it’s real or faux. The bold colors and designs stood out that caught our eye. Michael Kors’ floral fur and J.Crew’s cotton candy coat were something embraced at the New York Fashion Show.
That’s not all, overcoats, not just any overcoats… plaid overcoats. Brands like Calvin Klein and Victoria Beckham approached plaid in a much subtle, cleaner, muted way. Outwear and cocktail dresses in plaid designs were really one of the big hits. Luxurious OTS cuts (off the shoulder dresses) and subtle silhouette designs stole the show. Of course, you can’t forget “shades of tan”. Skirts, knits, and pants the color of a soft camel to even a shade darker are very trendy this time around. There is nothing more stylish, and comfortable than pantsuits. There are a variety of colors and prints that stand out anywhere you go.
